Meet Our Board

Zach Fox - President  

“After working in the engineering field for 12 years, a career change led me to financial services in 2017. Also in 2017, I joined the New Palestine Chamber of Commerce. In 2022, I decided to become an independent financial advisor to offer more value to clients and serve the local community at a higher level. I have lived in Hancock County for nearly 30 years and my 3 kids attend New Palestine schools. I have become familiar with many people and businesses of New Palestine over the years. I am honored and excited to utilize my knowledge and talents to serve the community.”

Alex Barnes - First Vice President 

“Alex is a Licensed Funeral Director with Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. He grew up in and graduated from New Palestine High School in 2015, participating in Varsity Football. Alex has been involved in funeral service since he graduated high school and feels blessed that he has been able to serve many New Palestine families who have lost loved ones. During his spare time, Alex also serves as a Deputy Coroner with the Hancock County Coroner’s Office. He enjoys graphic design, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family. Alex is married to his wife, Bailey and they are parents of their first born, Delaney. They currently reside in McCordsville with their two dogs, Cali and Marley. Alex is very excited to be joining the Chamber Board and is looking forward to bringing new and innovative  ideas while giving back to the community that gave him so much growing up.”

Jean Graham - Second Vice President 

“Graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Farm & Real Estate Management.   I have been a local Realtor here in New Palestine for over 20 plus years.   I currently am a Real Estate Broker with Quality Real Estate Solutions on US 52.   Also, I have a passion for Tennis and am currently the Varsity Boys & Girls Tennis Coach for New Palestine High School.  I love the New Palestine community and want to see it remain the wonderful community that it is.”

Christy Price - Secretary 

“I am the Banking Center Manager at First Merchants Bank in New Palestine. I have been in banking for 20+ years. In my current role, I work with the financial needs of businesses and consumers in the area.  I grew up in New Palestine and currently live here with my husband, Nate, daughter, Ally, and son, Ethan. I love everything about New Pal and I am happy to be part of this great community!”

“Owner of Progressive Hair since 1981. A lifelong learner who believes everything rises and falls on leadership. I have been a chamber member since 2009, and a 2010 grad of Leadership Hancock County. I am also on the board of Southern Hancock Educational Foundation. I have a love for New Palestine and the surrounding community.”

Brandon Kleine - Representative

“I have been a career firefighter with Sugar Creek Twp. F.D. since 2001.  I am currently the Fire Chief. I have also been a member of Brookville Road Community Church since 2000.  I began on the chamber board in 2019.  It has been an honor to serve Sugar Creek Twp for 25 plus years.”

Brandee Bastin - Representative

Brandee Bastin has served as the Manager of the Hancock County Tobacco-Free Coalition since its beginnings in May of 2002, and the Tobacco Control Program Manager.  Brandee holds the Tobacco Treatment Specialist (TTS) accreditation Per the Bylaws of the New Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce, a slate of candidates shall be presented to all members of the Chamber ten days prior to the election, which takes place at the November meeting (Tuesday, November 12, 2024).from the Mayo Clinic. In Hancock County, she conducts youth tobacco prevention programs, adult and youth tobacco cessation programs, assists workplaces and communities adopt smoke-free workplace policies, including one of the only comprehensive smoke-free workplace laws in Indiana in Hancock County, and has built a strong Coalition with over 45 members and community partners. She is also a graduate of Leadership Hancock County, the Indiana Leadership Forum, and has received several local and statewide awards for her work in tobacco control over the past 22 years.  Brandee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of Evansville and a Master of Arts degree in Adult and Community Education from Ball State University.  Brandee lives in New Palestine, with her husband Nick, and two children, Branden and Brenna.

 Julie Lucas - Representative

“I am a New Palestine native and proud alumni of New Palestine High School.  My insurance career spans 30 plus years, where I began at a captive agency in Greenfield and branched out and owned my own agency; Lucas Insurance for 8 years and currently work at Central Insurance Associates. My whole life has been as an active volunteer for our community, county and state.  I am currently on the New Palestine Board of Directors, I am the President of New Palestine Main Street/New Pal Summer Fest, and truly enjoy being a part of our wonderful community and follow anywhere my heart leads me to help.  I look forward to continuing to serve on the board for the New Pal Chamber and to help grow our involvement in the great town we live in and represent."

Craig Smith - Representative 

“I am the Director of Student Learning and Communications for New Palestine Community Schools. This is my second year both participating and now serving as a member of the Chamber Board. I love to lead and I love to learn. This is my 23rd year in education. I taught 5th and 7th grades, served as an assistant principal and principal, and was recently invited back home to serve in my current role in Hancock County. My daughter is a senior at UIndy and my son is a sophomore at New Palestine High School. My wife Jennifer and I just recently celebrated 24 amazing years of marriage. I am very excited about the opportunity to serve on the board and represent one of the largest employers in Southern Hancock County. We are #newpalproud of our community partners!”

Angela Crowe - Representative 

“Angela just celebrated 10 years with FORUM Credit Union. Starting as a Member Advisor back in 2014, she focused on developing into a leadership role and now serves as Branch Manager of the Brookville Road branch. She dedicates her time to building strong team dynamics, focusing on employee development and delivering exceptional member service. Angela lives in Danville with her husband, Gary, their 2-year-old daughter, Norah, and loveable labradoodle, Remington. With being new to working on the East side of Indianapolis, Angela is now looking to expand her involvement in the community and eager to connect with local organizations to make a positive impact.”

Jake Ordelheide - Advisor

“I am the owner of NP Awards, Signs, and Engraving, serving New Palestine, and the surrounding area. We have been in business serving our customers since 2003.  I graduated from New Palestine High School in 2011 and then attended IUPUI and graduated from there with a BS in Public Safety Management, a certificate in Public Management, and a Minor in Criminal Justice in 2014. While I was attending IUPUI I served as a Police Officer and graduated from the police academy in 2014. From there I started working as a police officer for the town of McCordsville before going into private security and working on the DHS-FPS Indiana contract.  I started back to assisting my father Ronald Ordelheide with the family business NP Awards with the intention to grow the business and take it over when he fully retired.”

Is the Chamber a government entity?

No, the NPACC Chamber is not a government entity. It is a non-for-profit member organization and receives no funding from a government organization.

Does a business need to be located in Hancock County to be a member?

No. It does not matter where the business is located. If you wish to market to Hancock County businesses you should join the NPACC Chamber.

Where is the NPACC Chamber office located?
